UN Office of the Special Adviser (OSASG) on Cyprus participated in the ‘Let’s do it! Cyprus’ campaign
On 29 October, staff and families from the UN Office of the Special Adviser (OSASG) on Cyprus participated in the ‘Let’s do it! Cyprus’ campaign, aimed at raising awareness and participation of the public in the protection, conservation and sustainable management of the environment in Cyprus. https://www.togethercyprus.org/en/lets-do-it-cyprus
As their contribution to the campaign, the staff collected twenty bags of rubbish along the Kiti beach in Larnaca. The OSASG is committed to the protection of the environment and the staff intends to conduct similar activities island-wide on a more regular basis in the future.
