The Technical Committee on Youth organized an event bringing together young people from across Cyprus and 13 experts from a diverse range of professional fields, including economy and business, architecture and engineering, environment, health, law and diplomacy.
The event was attended by the Personal Envoy of the United Nations Secretary-General on Cyprus, Ms. María Ángela Holguín Cuéllar.
Through the exchange of experiences, professional insights and practical advice, participants had the opportunity to engage directly with experts, explore different career paths and establish connections across communities and professional sectors.
The event provided a platform for mentorship, collaboration and dialogue, encouraging young people from across the island to learn from one another and build professional networks.
The Committee extended its appreciation to the Technical Committee on Economic and Commercial Affairs for its recommendations of experts who contributed to the event.
The United Nations Good Offices Mission in Cyprus supports the work of the Secretary-General and his Personal Envoy in the peace process and facilitates the 13 Technical Committees, helping sustain dialogue, build trust and address issues of importance across the island.
