Nicosia, 20 January 2022 - As per the agreement of the Turkish Cypriot leader, Mr. Ersin Tatar, and the Greek Cypriot leader, Mr. Nicos Anastasiades, of 2 June, the Technical Committee on Health has continuously assessed the dynamic epidemiological situation and measures to be applied at the crossing points, as appropriate.

Based on the Committees assessment of 19 January 2022, the situation is determined to remain at Level 3 (dark red), and the following adjusted measures will be applied at all crossings points as of Monday 24 January (9am):

Level 3 (Dark Red):

A. 7-day negative PCR or Rapid test will be required for:

• Persons fully vaccinated with AstraZeneca, Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines as of 14 days after their 2^nd dose. The validity period for these vaccines is considered to be until 7 months since the administration of the last dose of the primary vaccination or have received a booster shot.
• Persons fully vaccinated with Sinovac, Sinopharm, Sputnik and Johnson&Johnson vaccines as of 14 days after their 2^nd dose (1^st dose in the case of Johnson&Johnson). The validity period for these vaccines is considered to be until 3 months since the administration of the last dose of the primary vaccination or have received a booster shot.
• Children between 5 and 11 years old, unvaccinated high-school students and persons residing in Kato Pyrgos.

B. 72-hour negative PCR test or 48-hour negative Rapid test is required for:

• Unvaccinated persons, 12 years old and above and vaccinated persons that have not received a booster dose following the expiration of the vaccine validity period as described above.
