Today, the Turkish Cypriot leader, Mr. Ersin Tatar, and the Greek Cypriot leader, Mr. Nikos Christodoulides, met at their own initiative to follow up on the Geneva informal broader format meeting under the auspices of the Secretary-General.   

The United Nations Secretary-General, António Guterres, is hosting an informal conference on Cyprus in Geneva, with H.E. Mr. Nikos Christodoulides and H.E. Mr. Ersin Tatar alongside representatives from Greece, Türkiye, and the UK.
