Greening the Blue: tree planting by UN Good Offices mission

UN Cyprus Good Offices mission staff, supported by UNFICYP, care for the environment by holding a tree planting event in the UN buffer zone, planting local species such as olive trees. The mission of good offices continues to work with UNFICYP to support environmental peacebuilding initiatives and activities to highlight and address environmental challenges in the buffer zone, throughout the island and regionally.
